QUALIFICATION STANDARDS UNDER SEC 14, RA 8551 – Police Inspectors – NURSES

The Qualification Standard under Section 14 of RA 8551 for Police Inspector – Nurses Lateral Entry are as follows:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Eligibility: RA 1080 (NLE)

Age: At least 21 yrs. old but not more than 30 yrs. old upon oath taking for civilian applicants
– Not more than 46 yrs. old upon oath taking for PNP
member applicants.

Height: At least 1.62m for male
At least 1.57m for female

Weight: Not more or less than 5 kgs from the standard weight
corresponding to his or her height, weight, age and
sex

Experience: -At least one (1) year clinical experience in a
hospital (100 bed capacity) setting most preferably
at the PNPGH
– with Basic Life Support and Cardio Pulmonary
Resuscitation Training

Performance Evaluation Rating: For PNP- member applicants with more than a year in the service at least Very Satisfactory (VS) for the last two (2) rating periods
